In this humorous and poignant drama scene, a father is reminded how quickly the time with his son can pass him by. A father returning home from work is greeted by his eight-year-old son. The father agrees to build a model spaceship with the boy. As they start to work, the son goes into the kitchen but comes out as a twelve-year-old. The dad is naturally shocked but the now-older son doesn't realize anything has happened. When the boy goes into the kitchen again, he comes out as a sixteen-year-old. Now the dad is completely dumbfounded. The son goes into the kitchen a final time but comes out as the original eight-year-old. The dad is greatly relieved and realizes the preciousness of the time he has with his son.
