Description
God does not love heterosexuals, homosexuals, republicans, democrats, white people, black people, etc. God loves His people that He created. That's who God loves…ALL PEOPLE. We were all created in the image of God and we have given ourselves labels along the way. But God loves people. God loves you and His love is different than ours, because God's love is an unconditional love. What will you do with that love? Will you trust it? God loves you in the midst of your struggle. The book of Hebrews 2:18 says that God can help us when we are being tempted. So being tempted with homosexual thoughts or attractions of any of that kind is not sin in and of itself. The Bible tells us that Jesus Himself was tempted. When we begin to pursue that temptation, to fantasize about it and to act on it, that is when it becomes a sin. This is true no matter what the temptation is-a lie, drunkenness, stealing, etc. But with God's grace, change and healing and wholeness, with whatever the sin may be, is possible. God knows what true life is. He knows what true freedom is. He wants every one of us-heterosexual or homosexual-to experience life and freedom. How do you respond to God's love?
