If Jesus Ran the World 8-Part Message Series

The gospel Jesus teaches is that the kingdom of God-God's power and presence and reign-is now available to ordinary human beings. We often think of the gospel as the minimal entrance requirements for getting into heaven when we die. Jesus' gospel includes the promise of forgiveness of sin and eternity with God, but it includes more than that. Jesus' death on the cross was only part of His mission; his overall mission was to be a "kingdom bringer." Jesus brought God's kingdom to earth and He invites everyone to seek first God's kingdom and then extend it to others.
