Description
Principles of giving have been spelled out in both Old Testament and New Testament passages. This message focuses on a brief passage where the apostle Paul is asking the Corinthian church to financially assist the church in need in Jerusalem. Christ-followers are encouraged to be faithful in supporting not only the local church and its leaders who equip us to do ministry and live our lives in Christ, but also churches in need nationally and internationally. Being available financially to do this means discipline and accountability with the resources God has given us. The question is posed: If under the law we're to give ten percent, under grace how much do you think we should give?
