Service Description: From the wisdom of Scripture and the words of experts, we know friendships are important and life-giving to those who cultivate them. Although our techno-laden world provides an atmosphere where someone could seclude themselves without any direct personal contact for a very long time, we need to step out of that kind of isolation and develop face-to-face friendships where individuals make themselves available to each other in both the good and the not-so-good of life and where we honor God's plan of community and relationship. We need to make a mindful effort to develop relationships that go beneath the surface and that can have a lasting impact on our lives.
